DMCA Policy

Effective Date: March 30, 2026

Vavio Sports respects the intellectual property rights of content creators. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

1. How Vavio Sports Displays Content

Vavio Sports is a content discovery platform. We do not host video or audio content, and we do not republish full news articles. YouTube videos are displayed through YouTube's official embedded player, podcast episodes link to audio hosted by the podcast publisher, and news articles are summarized from publisher RSS feeds and link out to the original article on the publisher's website. If you have a copyright concern about the underlying content, you may also wish to contact the hosting platform or publisher directly (e.g., YouTube's copyright complaint process).

If your concern is about how Vavio Sports references, links to, or displays metadata about your content (such as titles, thumbnails, AI-generated segments, or excerpt quotes), please follow the process below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a takedown notice, send a written communication to our designated DMCA agent that includes all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the specific URL(s) on Vavio Sports where the material appears, so we can locate it.
  4. Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

3. Designated DMCA Agent

Send DMCA notices to:

Vavio Sports / Level 8 Ventures, LLC

Attn: DMCA Agent

San Francisco, CA 94108

Email: dmca@vavio.app

Please use "DMCA Takedown Notice" as the subject line. We aim to respond to all valid notices within 5 business days.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared on Vavio Sports.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.

Send counter-notifications to dmca@vavio.app with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification."

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Vavio Sports maintains a policy of terminating access for users or sources that are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If a content source repeatedly results in valid DMCA complaints, we may permanently remove that source from our platform.

6. Good Faith Warning

Please be aware that filing a false DMCA takedown notice may result in liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. If you are unsure whether content on Vavio Sports infringes your copyright, consider consulting a legal professional before submitting a notice.
